Kassan

Listen to the price. Pay it in coins and notes.

The cashier says the price in Swedish. Drag coins and notes onto the tray, or tap them, then pay before the queue loses patience. Three wrong amounts and the round is over.

  • Right amounts in a row multiply your points, up to three times.
  • Paying with the fewest coins and notes is worth extra points.

How Swedish says a price

  • 17sjutton17
  • 70sjuttio70
  • 47fyrtiosju40 + 7
  • 125hundratjugofem100 + 20 + 5

-ton is 13 to 19, -tio is the tens. A price is one long word: hundratjugofem is 125.

Öre: prices can still say femtio öre, but the coins are gone. In cash, 49,50 kr is rounded up to 50 kr.

On a laptop: the keys 1 to 8 put money on the tray, smallest first, Backspace takes the last piece back, Space plays the price again, Enter pays. Every word you hear here joins your review deck.
