The short answer
To talk about hobbies in Swedish, use på fritiden for in my free time, jag brukar for a habit and jag gillar att plus an infinitive for a preference. Fritidsintresse means an interest or leisure pursuit, while hobby exists but is narrower than its English equivalent.
