The short answer
To describe a daily routine in Swedish, use the present tense and a short sequence: först, sedan, därefter and till slut. The anchor verbs are vakna, gå upp, äta, åka, börja, sluta, komma hem and lägga sig. Add a time to three stages, not every sentence.
Six verbs carry the morning
Start with vakna, gå upp, duscha, klä på sig, äta frukost and gå hemifrån. Keep reflexive verbs with the matching pronoun: jag klär på mig.
The list of 100 common Swedish verbs lets you replace only the actions that do not match your real morning.

|---|---|---|
| Jag vaknar halv sju och går upp direkt. | I wake up at half past six and get up straight away. | Opening the account of a normal day. |
Work, study and the commute
Use åka till jobbet, börja, ta rast, äta lunch and sluta. One time at the start and another at the end give the section enough structure.
To describe a regular commute, the Swedish train station and ticket guide supplies departure, connection and delay language.

Evening and home
After komma hem, add two actions that are yours: cooking, training, reading, meeting friends or resting. Finish with lägga sig rather than only sova.
The Swedish household chores guide gives you the laundry, dishes and tidying verbs that actually occupy an evening.

Vary frequency and add a concrete detail
No routine is identical every day. Add alltid, ofta, ibland, sällan and one exception with men på fredagar.
The Swedish frequency adverbs guide explains their sentence position. For a concrete morning detail, describe what you wear with the Swedish colours guide.
